We don't have an RWA group in Erie, so I belong to neighboring Cleveland, Ohio's Chapter. Here are a few pics from this years conference.

Now, just because there's a Labatt's sign behing us, doesn't mean the three of us (Rose, Holly and Caren) weren't working hard! Susan Gable was there as well, but she's taking the picture, so I guess she was working hardest!

 

RWA Conference, Atlanta, GA

RWA is Romance Writers of America.  They hold an annual conference.  This year's was in Atlanta.  Every year we kick off the conference with a huge booksigning.  Hundreds of authors, tons of readers.  The money we raise is donated to that community's literacy programs.  This year I sat between Melanie Jackson and Elle James.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, if you go down this page to a picture from my Erie signing, you'll see Linda.  Well, she introduced me to her sister, Malinda at that signing.  And Malinda happens to live in Atlanta.  She came out to visit me...

March 2006

My traveling in 2006 started off on a great note.  I spent the first weekend in March in Shreveport, LA at the NOLA Stars Conference.  Everyone was so nice, and I had a blast.  If you have a chance to visit the group...do!
